In this role, you will work closely with senior DBAs and engineers to ensure our databases run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Fundamental knowledge of relational databases and SQL (e.g., SELECT, JOIN, indexing). Familiarity with at least one database platform (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar). Understanding of basic database concepts such as transactions, normalization, and constraints. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. Nice to Have Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL). Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
