About Venture Home Venture Home is a dynamic growing organization committed to delivering exceptional service and results. Our sales team is the engine of our expansion and we are looking for a dedicated Outside Sales Trainer to empower our new hires and elevate our existing teams performance.
Position Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Outside Sales Trainer based in the Stamford CT this role you will be the driving force behind our new hire onboarding traveling to various regional markets every 2-3 weeks to deliver a high-impact 5-day in-person training program. When you arent on the road you will work locally in a hybrid capacity to continuously improve our training content partner with our recruiting department to attract top talent and provide ongoing coaching to our active sales team.
Key Responsibilities - Field Training & Onboarding (Travel Weeks): Travel to different regional markets every 2-3 weeks to lead comprehensive 5-day in-person training programs for newly hired outside sales representatives.
- Curriculum Development: Design refine and update sales training materials scripts playbooks and presentations to ensure alignment with current market trends and company goals.
- Recruiting & Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the recruiting team during non-travel weeks to evaluate candidates participate in interviews and help identify individuals with high sales potential.
- Sales Team Support & Coaching: Work directly with the existing sales team to provide ongoing mentorship identify skill gaps run refresher workshops and drive overall sales performance.
- Performance Tracking: Assess the effectiveness of training programs by tracking the ramp-up time conversion rates and retention of new hires.
Qualifications - Location: Must reside in or be highly commutable to the Stamford CT area.
- Experience: Proven track record in sales training coaching or sales enablement ideally within an outside sales or direct sales environment.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel extensively (every 2-3 weeks) for 5-day market visits.
- Communication Skills: Dynamic presentation skills with the ability to captivate and motivate a room of new hires.
- Content Creation: Experience building or customizing training decks role-play scenarios and onboarding schedules.
- Team Player: Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to seamlessly pivot between field training HR/recruiting support and sales coaching.
